At my feet. Always. For some reason, Colby seems to think his proximity is necessary in the gestation process. He follows me from room to room, and is never more than mere inches away. He's a good boy.
We were wondering how in the world we were going to handle caring for both Celia and the new baby, but Colby has offered to pick up some of the slack...
Currently he’s working on discarding soiled diapers. It’d be awesome if he’d figure that out. It’d also mean that you might want to avoid his lavish kisses next time you visit.
Pretty good progress for a dog to go from this, a couple of years ago:

When you take his picture, how do you get Colby to say "cheese" when his mouth is full? Does it sound more like "woofzease"? Or...does he just say his name? Or...is he the kind of dog that "wouldn't say diaper if he had a mouth full"?
ReplyDeleteJust curious.
love love love it. Can't wait to see you guys!
ReplyDeleteTell Colby I'm making a to-do list for him the next time he comes to stay with us. Ya know, Woofter used to change your diapers and read you bedtime stories...
ReplyDeleteGood Boy, Colby...I know it's tiring helping Mom so much, but she REALLY appreciates it! ;o)
ReplyDeleteWhoofter!
ReplyDeleteNo wonder Cobi is so loved! Great memories for me.
Oh, and I can hardly wait until I get those great pictures of Cobi and Celia's newest sibling. 14 more days or LESS!
Great start on diaper duty, Colby!
