Tiny Dancer.
Dancing Queen.
Dancing in the Moonlight. None of these song titles-turned-blog post titles is quite right. Celie is by no means
tiny (and she's fine with that, as are we!) We do treat Cel like royalty; we can't help but coddle her... but she's more princess than
queen. And although she's often still up when the
moon is out, Celie doesn't dance anymore.
But she will dance again someday. And when we're reunited, it will be a joy to watch her recitals, and to dance with her...

Celia looks beautiful in her awesomely colored tutu! (Made by Bridget?) And she'll definitely dance again . . . hope the front row at the Heavenly Ballet has plenty of room for us all! We have our tickets!
ReplyDeleteConstantly reminding me of how grateful I should be. Hugs to all.
ReplyDeleteDo you think they make that tutu in my size? Probably not!
ReplyDeleteDance, Celia, Dance! Even if it's just in her spirit, she dances! :)
ReplyDeleteAdorable! What a beautiful image to keep close in my heart and mind.
ReplyDeleteI agree with all you wrote Jenni, and to me Celia is dancing in our hearts everyday. Save me a ticket for a front row seat, Celia!
ReplyDeleteI am a friend of Chirsty, Emmas mom. I love reading about the girls. I have a huge heart for children for with Special needs. I work with children with severe and profound specail needs. I learn so much from them on a daily basis. I am adding your precious Celia and family to my prayer list.

I was just telling Aunt Sally this evening that Celie and I had enjoyed dancing today... Celie on her tippy toes... me on my knees with my arms around her... singing along with Moose A. Moose, and swaying with the music... "friends are the friendiest, everywhere I go." Truly, we were both smiling.
ReplyDeleteBut that tutu makes it art!
Beautiful words as always! Thanks for reminding us to find joy in all things. Celia will be dancing on the streets of gold!
