CEB Fall 2008
The earth is spinning, the seasons changing, leaves falling. The days grow shorter, in more ways than one. Despite her tremendous will, her perseverant effort, there are days she cannot drink, cannot coordinate her swallowing muscles. Days when the threads that tether her to this world break at a faster rate. It’s a tug of war, and heaven is winning.

ReplyDeleteOh Jenni. I don't know what else to say. Reading your words tonight brought an ache that I literally felt from the pit of my stomach to the tips of my fingers. If any side other than you and Andy has to win, heaven would be the next best.

ReplyDeleteThe reality of your post greatly saddens my heart. I know that God loves Celia but I can't understand why He wishes for her to be with Him at such a young age. I pray that He could give us better insight...like, "Go to the bus station and look in locker #174." Someday we'll know.
