Here we have

Tuck has a very endearing habit of beginning all his show and tells with "Here we have..."  Whether he builds a new lego creation he'd like me to admire or completes another page in his maze book, if he begins his request for my attention with Here we have I know it's something pretty important.
More recent phrases and ideas out of Tuck's mouth:

He saw crutches leaning against the hospital wall a few weeks ago and proclaimed I know what those are, those are hand helpers!

After talking a bit about Tolliver's upcoming birthday, Tucker said If it's my birthday at my house, I'd like to have pizza for a cake.  You could put a candle in the middle of it.  Or five.

When his here-we-haves are destroyed by the hands of his little brother, he's been known to declare We're gonna have to take him back to the Tollie store.

On our way to school earlier this week he observed The sun's out already.  That means the moon went back to do some homework.

While the four of us settled into our spots around the dinner table one evening, Tuck gently said to his brother Tols, I'd like to take your talking off the menu tonight.

Before bed just an hour ago he leaned over and whispered Mom, I got a top secret for ya.  You deserve a hug.  Let's make it a jump hug this time.
Here we have, I thought to myself, a clever ploy to postpone bedtime.  But we climbed down and did it, because there's always time for jump hugs.

  3. And it should be noted that Tucker declared that he wanted to keep all the angry birds he has sculpted on the "balcony" over our fireplace. "Here we have red bird... "
