Let me guess -- the books have too many words, or too many pictures, or not enough pages. The chairs are not comfy; there are not enough pillows and this is NOT one of their favorite things to do.
I have no doubt the boys are "book smart" but how about "street smart"? Have you considered moving to the inner city for a couple of years? Drug dealers their age have great math skills, running ability and excel at hide and seek. Just sayin'.
