We're home today. Although all of us haven't been together at once
yet, when the baby moved from abstract to tangible so did the idea of the five of us.
It was a risk. The confines of the comment box will restrict my reply, but do you remember the Punnett Square from 8th grade Biology? I do; and we decided to take the risk. I let the tragedy dominate my last three years and it was time to turn the page. Andy Dufresne said it best. "Get busy livin, or get busy dying." Celia's life has taught us many lessons. One of which is not to be afraid. Especially of what other people think.
Andy, I love your comment about Andy Dufrense. Shawshank is my all time favorite movie. I also like "who climbed through a mile of sh** and came out clean on the other side". That movie says it all...you can go through so many struggles in your life and still turn things into the positive.
anonomous 1 Having children, regardless of your past experience, is an exercise in faith and love. None of us are guaranteed a healthy pregnancy, child or outcome. However, those who have not experienced the pain of unfulfilled dreams related to childbearing, are lucky enough not to be able to fathom, that the risk exists for all. Our lives are not defined by whether we are handed perfect destinies but how we see the perfect in the destiny we are given. Andy Jenni and family: your party of 5 is just perfect!

Oh My Gosh, do I wonder how your mind works that you can come up with this stuff. So stinkin' creative I tell you...
BTW he is so sweet :)
How could you create another life knowing that another child might have the same disease?
I guess it is a risk we all must take.
Anonymous, how could you leave a comment like that at such a joyous time? If you have nothing nice to say...
Can I give you my Blogger password so you can write some creative posts for me? I'm sure Andy can Photoshop some pictures to look like my kids!
Precious! Of course! Much love to you all.

Andy My Boy,
Don't you think it may be a gigantic leap to assume "anonymous #1" ever made it to 8th grade???
