River Fam

We spent the Fourth with seven other Grandview families in southern Ohio, nineteen kids combined. Parents of Hank's peers, the group became close as our children formed a tight friendship in kindergarten. We feel really lucky to be included, and appreciate the patient, creative, like-minded village vibe when we're all together. One of the dads toasted to our big boys, hoping someday he is the parent of the older kids who are responsible and inclusive - it was such a kind thing to say. There were fireworks and watersports, a talent show and ball games, way too much food and very little sleep. We can't wait to gather at the river again next year!
