The cat spends the afternoon watching the world from the trampoline, snuggled in the entrance where the nets overlap, and I wonder if it feels like a hug.
There is luxury in the onlooking, in not optimizing every spare moment. The mesh lets in only the parts that are welcome, no insects or news outlets, and I like the view too.
mud kitchens and marble runs
couch boxes and cuddles and outdoor dramas
the trap museum and tumbling rocks
garden bounty and front porch games
a new viola and VBS and books at the pool
