Last Verse

When I'm tired, my emotions sing louder.  And they don't always have nice things to say.

But when I feel completely overcome, I try to invite words like these to ring through my head:
Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care,
and take us to heaven to live with Thee there.

Be with them, Lord Jesus
I ask Thee to stay
Close by them forever
And love them, I pray...

Sometimes I take liberties with lyrics, and for what it's worth -- my theology allows for some downright ugly, angry feelings -- even after a good night's sleep.

Fitting words for such tough times.

You are both soulful and beautiful writers. Your family is gorgeous. I work with your stepdad, Rod, at GLHS. I think of you often. You had Celia approx. one month before I had my second child. We didn't know the gender, and when I heard the name Celia, I fell in love with it. We were blessed with a baby boy, Keegan:) Anyway, although you don't know me, and I don't know you, I am thinking of you. Celia is the luckiest little girl to have such a loving, caring, and committed family. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
